John H. Pickering Award of Achievement

Nominate the finest in pro bono for the 2025 Pickering Award. The award honors the life and accomplishments of John H. Pickering, an outstanding lawyer who was involved in various pro bono activities and law-related societal issues affecting the elderly. The award will be presented August 9, 2025 from 12:30-2 p.m. EDT as part of the ABA 2025 Annual Meeting in Toronto.‌

Applications are open for 2025-26 ABA Presidential Appointments. All ABA Members are

eligible and the deadline for all submissions is February 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. EST.

Applicants are advised to apply well prior to February 10 to avoid system delays. When submitting your application, also email emily.roy@americanbar.org by February 3 so that the Division can support your application.
